Welcome to a New Moose Year!
I would like to start by saying Thank You to those of you that helped out with the Governors' Bash. Hope everybody had a great time. I would also like to say Thank You to Ed Aisenbrey, Dana Bassel, Steven Altig, Bob Roach and, of course, Jack Roller for their many years of great service to our Lodge and our community. If you see any of these gentlemen around, please take the time to thank them yourself for a job well-done.
We have a fairly fresh Board of Officers this year and need some new ideas to help increase our membership and keep current members active. If you can thin of anything please drop me a line at moose2135 [at] yahoo [dot] com or find me at the Lodge. Also, if you have any activities you would like to see happening at the Lodge, those are always welcome.
Check the calendar out for events during May and June. We have a Mother's Day Breakfast buffet, May 11th. The LOOM Officers will be the Chefs for the day. Then comes the Father's Day Breakfast buffet, June 15th. The WOTM Officers will be fixing the morning goodies for the day. Please join us for the annual pig roast and Golf Tourney on June 14th. The pigs have been ordered and the weather has been ordered as sunny. Mother Nature hasn't returned the call yet, though. Just have to wait until June 14th and find out her mood, huh?
The Wednesday Dinners will end with Dixon's Wings on June 11th 'till September, so be watching for the September menu.
